In a Tournament filled with Division I players, USHL and NAHL standouts, Little Rhody Blue showed to be a sneaky little wagon and impressed some people in the process.
Wanted to give a big Congratulations to Coach Kauffman and Little Rhody Hockey on a huge weekend in the Battle of Boston.
In a division with 44 Teams, a gritty group of Prep and Junior players led by Cornell commit Tim Rego-00' and Middlebury commit Andrew Shearson-00' fought their way to the final two teams.
The team won the first 3 games in impressive fashion outscoring their opponents 28-4. Wins over Roc City White and Futures White and JDM.
In the Quarters, they faced powerhouse Hockey Essentials and came out on top 4-1. That set them up with a matchup vs Roc City Red who was loaded with NA players. Andrew Shearson put on a show and held them to 2 goals with a 40+ save effort.
The finals matched them up against an incredible Roc City Elite 01 team who was a little too much to handle.
An fantastic run!!
